Your health is our top priority. So, we are continuing to look for ways to provide you with additional services to support your well-being.

Starting July 1, 2020, and for the rest of the calendar year, we are expanding your benefit coverage and waiving out-of-pocket costs for certain services beyond COVID-19 related testing and treatment.  We are also expanding coverage for select extra benefits until the end of the year (2020).

Changes to benefits and coverage

  1. No copays, coinsurance and deductibles for:
    • In-network primary care doctor visits for in-office, clinics, or in-home visits.
    • Outpatient, non-facility based behavioral health visits.
    • In network telehealth or virtual visits with primary care, specialty, and behavioral health providers.

We’ll continue to cover the costs for medically necessary COVID-19 testing, screenings and/or treatment when ordered and/or referred by a licensed healthcare provider.

  1. Increased reward amount for completing your Annual Wellness visit: All WellCare, WellCare TexanPlus, and ‘Ohana Medicare Advantage members can now earn a reward through the Healthy Rewards Program when you complete your annual wellness visit. To be eligible for this reward, you must complete your visit by December 31, 2020. Login to our Member Portal to learn more about earning and spending rewards.
  1. Additional meals delivered to your home: You may receive 14 additional meals if meal delivery benefits are already included with your plan. To qualify for the meal delivery benefit you must:
    • Have a recent hospital discharge from an in-patient hospital stay
      OR
    • Be currently managed by Care Management due to an eligible chronic condition.

Members that meet the above criteria will receive 14 additional meals in a single delivery starting July 1st though December 31st, 2020.
