Since July 2014, WellCare of Georgia has offered a PCMH coaching program to help assist practices in our Georgia Medicaid network with becoming PCMH recognized. To help provide assistance to more practices in our network, we recently contracted with a company called BizMed Solutions to create a private label version of a web-based software-as-a-service platform. This platform is a free resource for practices in our Georgia Medicaid network.
BizMed was established in 2010 and has combined an innovative web-based technology platform with virtual learning modules and customized practice facilitation. This platform has been designed to simplify and accelerate PCMH implementation for initial PCMH recognition and support NCQA PCMH recognition renewals.
The BizMed Toolbox is the name of the platform and it includes the following capabilities:
- 35 Training Modules on PCMH topics
- Customizable project plans
- Practice express and detailed assessments
- Automated NCQA workspace and scoring
- Electronic NCQA application submission (including corporate)
- Access to helpful templates, tools and documentation
- HIPAA compliance
- Technical support
