To recognize pediatricians, internists and family practice physicians who collaborate with us to provide superior care to our members, WellCare of South Carolina is offering a Bill-Above Program in 2018.
WellCare will increase the payment for select codes by $35 for the remainder of 2018. This is in addition to the compensation you receive under your Participation Agreement.*
Please note the following program requirements:
- Provide a complete physical examination, including anticipatory guidance, developmental screening, and physical exam for children up to age 21. Provide a complete physical exam for members over age 21.
- Coding includes: 99241-99245, 99341-99345, 99347-99350, 99381-99387, 99391-99397, 99401-99404, 99411-99412, 99420, 99429
HCPCS: G0402, G0438-G0439, G0463
*As your contract defines, compensation for Covered Services provided to Medicaid MCO Members shall be the lesser of the usual and customary billed charges, or the newly enhanced
rates for the codes specified, less Member Expenses.
