SafeLink Wireless Lifeline Program

With the current COVID-19 outbreak, WellCare is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our members and providers. WellCare wants to help our providers stay connected to WellCare members so they are able to continue to provide the care and services they need during and after this crisis.

WellCare has collaborated with SafeLink to offer members a smartphone, at-no-cost, allowing them the means to access Telehealth virtual appointments. This further prevents the need to put the public and providers at increased risk, complying with the CDC’s guidelines on social distancing.

We encourage providers to tell their WellCare members that SafeLink phones are available through our program, so they can continue to receive exceptional care while preventing the spread of this virus.
